The numbers don’t lie—Ben Affleck is back as Christian Wolff in The Accountant 2, and this time, the stakes are even higher. Warner Bros. has just dropped the official trailer for the highly anticipated sequel, reuniting Affleck with Jon Bernthal as his lethal on-screen brother, Brax.
Fans eager for an early look won’t have to wait long—special Tax Day screenings will take place nationwide on April 15, before the film’s global theatrical release on April 25.
A Deadly Mystery Unfolds
Directed by Gavin O’Connor, The Accountant 2 sees Christian Wolff once again using his unique skills to crack complex cases. This time, an old acquaintance’s murder sets him on a dangerous path after a cryptic message—“find the accountant”—draws him into a deadly conspiracy.
Realizing he can’t do it alone, Wolff turns to his estranged brother, Brax (Bernthal), whose own lethal talents make him the perfect ally. Together, they join forces with U.S. Treasury Deputy Director Marybeth Medina (Cynthia Addai-Robinson) to unravel a high-stakes operation that has put them in the crosshairs of a ruthless criminal network.
The film also features Daniella Pineda, Allison Robertson, and J.K. Simmons.
