Travel Blue returns to TFWA Asia Pacific with larger stand and renewed focus on Gen Z shoppers

Travel Blue will return to the TFWA Asia Pacific Exhibition in Singapore (11 to 15 May) with a larger stand (2-G1/G8, Basement 2), reflecting its growing travel accessories, backpack and luggage offer.

The company is focusing on Gen Z consumers with a view to help regional operators tap into this demographic and maximise sales.

The spotlight will be on Travel Blue’s updated backpack collection, which now includes new styles and colourways. Designed for everyday use, the backpacks are lightweight, priced between €59 (US$67) and €99 (US$112), and come with a three-year global warranty.

Travel Blue backpacks target Gen Z travellers with an emphasis on functionality, durability and affordability

Travel Blue Managing Director Daniel Levin said, “The Asia market is very important to Travel Blue and a major focus for business development.

“In the past year, we have worked with retail partners to explore expanding our in-store spaces. We are really pleased with this opportunity, which reflects a shift in consumer trends away from luxury towards more affordable and practical purchases.

“We are looking forward to a busy show and developing exciting plans together with our partners for the coming year.”

Gen Z are expected to become the largest airline passenger group by 2028, making up 1.2 billion of the projected 4.5 billion global travellers and surpassing Millennials*.

Around 70% of Gen Zs also plan to travel more by that time. This group is set to account for nearly two-thirds of duty-free shoppers, highlighting its growing relevance to the travel retail industry*.

Travel Blue’s product line includes onboard luggage, hot-cold water bottles, ergonomic neck pillows and travel essential electronics such as cables, adaptors and chargers.

The carry-on hardshell cases, made from polypropylene, are expandable and feature built-in TSA locks, reinforced 360° spinner wheels and integrated handles. These are priced between €129 and €169 (US$129-US$169) and come with a ten-year global warranty.

The brand’s insulated stainless-steel bottles keep drinks hot for six hours and cold for 12, owing to double-walled vacuum technology. ✈
