Tomica Tunes Sanrio Characters Cars Include Hello Kitty, Cinnamoroll
Takara Tomy will release Tomica Tunes toys featuring Sanrio characters in miniature cars. They’ll come out in late May 2025. Each Sanrio Tomica Tunes car will cost 1320 JPY ($8.75). You’ll have to get them in a blind box, and Takara Tomy warns that even if you purchase an entire full box of them, you might not be able to collect them all. In total, there are seven variations of the toys: Hello Kitty, Pompompurin, Pochacco, Cinnamoroll, My Melody, and Kuromi. The seventh one is a secret. Takara Tomy made the mascots using die casting techniques, and they’ve personalized their car to really match with their general aesthetic. According to the Takara Tomy website, the toy tells a very positive and optimistic story. The mascots look scared because they’re lost and unsure of where to go. However, because they never stop driving, they’ll reach their goal in time. Takara Tomy has released Sanrio toys multiple times in the past. Usually, these ones appear in gachapon machines, though. Some examples include miniature figures of the Sanrio mascots looking like sushi, figures of the mascots hugging even smaller versions of themselves, and figures of them lying down on their stomachs and sleeping. The Sanrio Tomica Tunes toys will appear in Japan in late May 2025. The post Tomica Tunes Sanrio Characters Cars Include Hello Kitty, Cinnamoroll appeared first on Siliconera.
