“Star Wars Zero Company” Game Announced

Bit Reactor, Respawn Entertainment, and Lucasfilm Games have all announced “Star Wars Zero Company,” a single-player turn-based tactics game coming to PC, PS5 and Xbox.

Back in early 2022 it was announced that Respawn Entertainment (“Star Wars: Jedi – Fallen Order,” “Titanfall 2”) was working on three new “Star Wars” games – one of which ended up being “Jedi – Survivor,” the sequel to “Jedi – Fallen Order”.

The other two were a first-person shooter, which was subsequently cancelled, and this strategy game co-developed with Bit Reactor, a studio with employees who worked on the “XCOM” and “Civilization” franchises.

In-depth details about the game are still being kept secret, but not for long. A first look at the game will take place this Saturday during the Star Wars Celebration event in Japan.

Douglas Reilly, VP, Lucasfilm Games said in the project’s original announcement:

“We are excited to continue working with the superbly talented developers at Respawn. They have demonstrated excellence in telling epic Star Wars stories along with best-in-class gameplay across different genres and we are looking forward to bringing more amazing experiences to the galaxy far, far away.”

It’s not presently clear when “Star Wars Zero Company” might launch.
