Seiko Reveals New Prospex 1968 Heritage Diver’s GMT 60th Anniversary Edition

With the launch of the Prospex 1968 Heritage Diver’s GMT 60th Anniversary, Seiko continues to commemorate 60 years of its iconic diving watches. This new release honors the 1968 Diver, which was the brand's first one-piece case hi-beat Diver’s watch to feature a 300-meter water resistance.Crafted from stainless steel, this reinterpretation spotlights a silvery white dial with lume-filled hour-markers. The clean and unassuming dial is accented with a touch of red on its hands and as the GMT lettering on the dial plate. Framed by a navy blue ceramic diving scale bezel, the GMT function allows tracking of three time zones without sacrificing a clean look. This is also the first Prospex model to include a short-pitch length bracelet with a micro-adjustable clasp.At its core, the new Diver is powered by an in-house 6R54 automatic GMT caliber, offering three days of power reserve.
