FRANCE. Nantes Atlantique Airport has unveiled its completely renovated and expanded retail and food & beverage offer with a series of celebratory events.
The ambitious project with anchor concessionaires Lagardère Travel Retail and SSP Group has seen the opening of 15 modernised and new stores across the terminal.
Lagardère Travel Retail has revealed a new look for its Aelia Duty Free store and opened three next-generation Relay shops, offering an enhanced selection of travel essentials along with a broader range of regional products.
The travel retailer told The Moodie Davitt Report that Aelia Duty Free now has a greater focus on regional specialities, such as Eddu Whisky, Erwan Gin and made-in-France cosmetics, alongside an eclectic line-up of international brands.
SSP’s expanded F&B line-up includes two new local brands in Ker Juliette (Breton crêpes and galettes) and Big Fernand (French burger restaurant). Other openings include Pokawa (poké bowls), and renovated stores for Starbucks, Brioche Dorée, Pret A Manger and Les Brassés.
In a LinkedIn post, Nantes Atlantique Airport said: “This inauguration marks a key milestone in our commitment to continuously improve the passenger experience. We have more local products, more self-service checkouts and an optimised layout – everything is designed for a smooth and pleasant journey.”
Nantes Atlantique Airport served more than 7 million passengers in 2024.
