Pet Symmetry on how Drive Like Jehu, Jimmy Eat World, Harvey Danger & more influenced their new LP

Chicago emo trio Pet Symmetry will release their new album Big Symmetry this Friday (5/2), and ahead of its release, band members Evan Weiss (Into It. Over It.), Marcus Nuccio (Ratboys), and Erik Czaja (Dowsing) sat down to discuss some of the albums core influences with BV.

Throughout the discussion, they namedropped Drive Like Jehu, Jimmy Eat World, Fang Island, Torche, Harvey Danger, that dog., and The Promise Ring, and you can watch the 3-minute video below to see what they had to say about each one.

Pet Sym will support the new album on a tour that begins in May, with support on most dates from Pony and Jimmy Montague, plus a few West Coast shows with Phony and Diners. The tour hits NYC on May 14 at Racket. All dates are listed below.
