Turnstile release two more very different songs from ‘Never Enough’
Turnstile show off their Prince-like ’80s funk side and their fast hardcore side on the two latest singles from ‘Never Enough.’

Turnstile Summer is approaching or whatever Charli XCX said. Having previously released the “Mystery”-esque title track of their long-awaited new album Never Enough, Turnstile have just released two more songs and videos from the album, and so far each single from this album goes in a different direction.
“Seein’ Stars” goes deep into the ’80s funk-pop elements that sometimes popped up on Glow On, with Brendan Yates shouting over a backdrop that sounds like Prince meets The Police and builds to a reverb-drenched guitar solo. Blood Orange’s Devonté Hynes and Paramore’s Hayley Williams sing backup on the song. The video (directed by Brendan and guitarist Pat McCrory) is very ’80s-looking too, and it goes right into “Birds,” a fast hardcore song with a “Blackout”-esque breakdown and a video that looks like Midsommar meets Woodstock meets hardcore shows. Check it out below.
Turnstile will celebrate Never Enough with a Brooklyn release show in a unique location, Under the K Bridge on June 5, with the genre-diverse lineup of rapper Teezo Touchdown, goth duo Boy Harsher, and hardcore band Big Boy. They’ve got festival appearances and a Europe tour happening after that. All dates are listed below.
