NFL Icons Predict Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce’s Future Kid Will Dominate

When two superstars collide, you get headlines. But when a record-breaking pop icon and a three-time Super Bowl champ fall in love? People start imagining their future MVP.

During the Thursday, March 6 episode of their Dudes on Dudes podcast, retired NFL stars Julian Edelman and Rob Gronkowski shared exactly what they think a Taylor Swift–Travis Kelce baby would be like — and they didn’t hold back.

More from Spin:

“That would be a great kid,” Edelman, 38, said after calling the 35-year-old Kansas City Chiefs tight end a “super, superstar.”

Gronkowski, 35, took it further, adding, “The kid would be performing, having like eight catches a game and then like halftime he’s doing the halftime show in, like, 24 years.” Edelman interjected, “Probably sooner — Taylor was on the scene when she was, like, 13.”

Gronkowski continued, saying their potential kid “would be in the league at 18 and then singing and performing.” After imagining a future that included performing with rapper Quavo and “having top 10 hits and a TikTok song,” the duo agreed: “They gotta have a kid.”

Swift, 35, and Kelce started dating in summer 2023 — and things have only gotten more serious since. While baby rumors may be premature, fans have been buzzing about a potential engagement. When asked if he planned to pop the question during a pre-game press conference ahead of the Super Bowl last month, the NFL star cheekily replied, “Wouldn’t you like to know?”
