Kevin Smith has revealed a brand new trailer for the 25th Anniversary of Dogma, his celebrated religious comedy classic that first opened in 1999. I remember hearing about this movie growing up because it was so edgy and provocative, and the religious world didn't want anyone to watch it. Dogma is being re-released in theaters this June in the middle of the summer with a new 4K restoration, along with a nationwide screening tour featuring Kevin Smith + special guests (starting April 20 in LA). Two fallen angels who were ejected from paradise find themselves banned in Wisconsin. They are now headed for New Jersey where they find a loophole that can get them back into heaven. The only catch is that it will destroy humanity. A group bands together to stop them.
