Netflix has unveiled the highly anticipated teaser for the second season of its hit Korean game show, The Devil’s Plan.
Netflix shared the first look at The Devil’s Plan season two, titled Death Room, today (April 9). The teaser for The Devil’s Plan season two introduces the 14-member cast as they enter the survival game for the first time.
The cast includes K-pop singer Chuu, Super Junior‘s Kyuhyun, model Choi Hyun-joon, actors Justin H. Min and Yoon So-hui, among others. On top of the new footage, the teaser clip also revealed that the show will premiere May 6, exclusively on Netflix.
The Devil’s Plan first premiered in 2023 and followed 12 contestants who competed against each other in sophisticated games over seven days for a prize of ₩500million (roughly US$370,000). It featured a star-studded cast, including SEVENTEEN‘s Seungkwan, actress Lee Si-won and more.
The Devil’s Plan is produced by Jeong Jong-yeon, who was previously behind popular South Korean variety and games shows such as The Genius, The Great Escape and Girls’ High School Mystery Class.
Aside from The Devil’s Plan, Netflix is set to bring more Korean shows to its platform this year, as part of a broader slate of Korean series and films planned for 2025. Among them are favourites like Culinary Class Wars, Physical: 100 and more.
