”Ice Cream Floats” also features activities like ”Mouse Stardust Theater 3000,” ”Storytime with Isaac Brock,” a ”Parade of Freaks,” and more.
Modest Mouse have joined the growing number of bands throwing their own cruise festivals. Their Ice Cream Floats cruise happens on February 5-9, 2026, sailing from Miami to Puerto Plata, Dominican Republic aboard the Norwegian Pearl.
Modest Mouse will perform three sets, and the lineup also features Portugal. The Man, Kurt Vile and the Violators, Mannequin Pussy, FIDLAR, Built to Spill, Tropical Fuck Storm, Ugly Casanova, The Black Heart Procession, comedian David Cross, and more to be announced.
Other activities include “Mouse Stardust Theater 3000” (members of the band and guests giving “live, brutally honest commentary alongside truly unique films”), “AMMA – Ask Modest Mouse Anything” (a live Q&A with bandmembers), “Storytime with Isaac Brock” (Brock will “read through children’s books with more character than you can imagine”), a “Parade of Freaks” (the band will “travel through the ship with a gaggle of the silliest and most eclectic freaks and creatures”), DJ sets, and more.
