Miki Berenyi Trio (Lush, Moose) announce North American tour, share “Kinch” from debut album

The Miki Berenyi Trio, the group led by former Lush singer/guitarist Miki Berenyi, will release their debut album, Tripla, this week and they’ve just announced a fall North American tour. Dates begin October 10 in Washington, DC and wrap up in Los Angeles on October 28. All dates are listed below.

The NYC stop on the tour will be Music Hall of Williamsburg on October 11 and tickets for all dates go on sale Friday, April 4 at 10 AM local time.

When MB3 toured North America last year, guitarist KJ McKillop (of Lush’s shoegaze contemporaries Moose) didn’t make the trip due to fear of flying but Miki said she would twist his arm if they came back.

Meanwhile, MB3 have shared “Kinch” from Tripla. “The lyrics are inspired by love and loss,” Miki says, “and how those people never leave you, and how it makes you think about the nature of love.” You can watch the video, directed by Sébastien Faits-Divers, below.
