Kim Cameron isn’t chasing trends — she’s defining them. With a global track record, the dance artist has made her return in 2025 with Don’t Look Back Raf N Soul Mixes, a tribal house remix that is perfect for sunset performances and late-night beach gatherings.
Originally a smooth jazz song that ascended the radio charts, Don’t Look Back is reimagined with a bold new sound by remixer Raf N Soul. The rhythm intensifies, the energy becomes more compelling, but it’s about more than just the pulse. Featuring the distinctive sounds of jazz artists Noshir Mody and Vivian Fang Liu, the track strikes a unique harmony between soulful depth and infectious dancefloor energy.

“Don’t Look Back is about always pushing forward,” Cameron says. “Regardless of what happened in the past, now is our time to pursue our dreams, passions — things we’ve never done before.”
It’s a fitting message from an artist who’s always taken risks and who now steps boldly into the summer of 2025 with a track that feels both fresh and eternal.
Cameron, who broke into the scene in 2008, has made a name for herself not just with infectious grooves but also with songwriting that aims to outlive the moment. “Each year, I try to challenge my songwriting — taking it to the next level with lyrical story content and new sounds and structures,” she says. “I’m trying to create songs that people will go back to, even ten years later.”
The video for Don’t Look Back keeps things minimalist, focusing the spotlight squarely on the music. “I didn’t want the visuals to take over the song content,” she explains. It’s a confident move — one that shows Cameron knows exactly where her strength lies.
Though best known for her love-story-laced deep house — somewhere between Kylie Minogue sparkle and underground edge — Cameron is also pushing outside the genre box. Her second new release, Let’s Set This Right, veers into alternative folk territory and addresses themes of social division and the accelerating pace of AI. “Much more serious than anything I had ever thought about doing,” she says, “but I felt like the time was right to explore a new genre and a new story.”
Still, Don’t Look Back is the summer anthem. It’s sweaty, smart, and spiritually optimistic — the kind of track that reminds us dance music can move both your body and your mindset. And if Kim Cameron has anything to say about it, this won’t just be heard in 2025 — it’ll still be danced to in 2035.
