“Indiana Jones” Game Sets PS5 Release Date

Bethesda has announced an official April 17th release date on the PlayStation 5 for the acclaimed video game “Indiana Jones and the Great Circle”.

Timed with the arrival of the PS5 port, developer MachineGames is set to add two new whip abilities for players across all platforms.

Digital preorders for the title are live now with physical preorders to follow. The game first hit shelves on December 9th last year when it was released on Xbox and PC.

The story follows archaeologist Indiana Jones in 1937, between the events of Raiders of the Lost Ark and The Last Crusade, as he attempts to thwart various groups who are seeking to harness a power connected to the Great Circle.

The Great Circle involves sites around the world that form a perfect circle when connected together on a map. These sites include the Pyramids at Giza, the Nazca Lines in Peru, Easter Island in the South Pacific, and the ruins of Sukhothai in Thailand with Indy visiting many of these and other locations like Rome.

Game acting legend Troy Baker, who played Joel Miller in “The Last of Us” and Booker DeWitt in “BioShock Infinite”, plays the character in the game. He appears in a new PS5 launch trailer below alongside fellow game acting legend Nolan North who is best known for his work as Nathan Drake in the “Uncharted” games.
