Helmet celebrated 30 years of ‘Betty’ @ Music Hall of Williamsburg (pics, setlist, video)
Tony Truglio of Liege Lord joined the band on “Ironhead,” and Helmet’s set featured lots of ‘Meantime’ too.
Helmet‘s Betty 30th anniversary tour hit the band’s NYC home turf on Friday night for a show at Music Hall of Williamsburg. They opened with the album (which actually turned 30 last year but who’s counting) in full, followed by a second set of songs that with lots from Meantime. including “Ironhead” where they brought out Tony Truglio (Liege Lord) to take lead guitar duties.
The encore opened with “Unsung” which was followed by “Give It,” then “Just Another Victim,” their Judgment Night soundtrack collab with House of Pain, “Just Another Victim,” and finally “in the Meantime.”
