First Clip: FX’s “Alien: Earth”

FX Networks and Hulu have released a new clip from the “Alien: Earth” TV series, which will launch this Summer.

The clip sees one character inside ‘Mother’, answering some questions about the status of the crew. At the same time, someone outside the room is demanding to be let in.

It’s soon revealed that ‘Specimens are Loose’ onboard the ship and the person outside the room is subsequently attacked by a xenomorph who then smashes their way into the room.

The series hails from “Fargo” and “Legion” creator Noah Hawley and begins when a mysterious space vessel crash-lands on Earth, presumably this scene is from an early episode featuring the crash.

In the show, a young woman (Sydney Chandler) and a ragtag group of tactical soldiers make a fateful discovery that puts them face-to-face with the planet’s greatest threat.

As members of the crash recovery crew search for survivors in the wreckage, they encounter mysterious, predatory life forms more terrifying than they could have ever imagined.

With this new threat unlocked, the search crew must fight for survival, and what they choose to do with this discovery could change planet Earth as they know it.

Alex Lawther, Essie Davis, Timothy Olyphant, Kit Young, Adarsh Gourav, David Rysdahl, Babou Ceesay, Lily Newmark, Adrian Edmondson, Sandra Yi Sencindiver and Moe Bar-El co-star in the series, which takes place just two years before the events of “Alien”.
