Bullets and Bashings Aplenty in Features Trailer for ‘Zombie Army VR’ [Watch]

Just in case you missed it, Rebellion will be releasing their latest entry in the Zombie Army franchise later this month with Zombie Army VR. They’ve now released a new features trailer for Zombie Army VR, showcases the tense action, precision gunplay and brutal melee that players will experience as they battle to overcome the undead masses.

Set before the events of Zombie Army 4, in Zombie Army VR you return to the field as one of the Deadhunters, an elite squad that is hunting down zombie war criminals. You will fight your way through undead hordes near the bombed-out city of Nuremberg and help Hermann Wolff, the Deadhunter’s legendary leader, find his scattered family and fight to free Europe from the zombie apocalypse.

VR brings a new level of immersion to the action of the Zombie Army series. Use both hands to aim down the sights of your rifle and line up that perfect shot at range. When things get up close and personal, you can use your gun to bludgeon the undead, or scour the environment for items to use as melee weapons. You will also need to master reloading drills as the undead hordes bear down on you from all sides. Overcoming your nerves and operating under pressure will be crucial if you are to succeed.

To help send the undead back to hell, you (or if you like, join a friend online for 2 player co-op) will have access to an arsenal of authentic World War II weaponry including sniper rifles, submachine guns, pistols, and more. You can also use Weapon Upgrade kits to modify the damage, accuracy, and ammo capacity of your weapons.

The first VR instalment of the franchise will launch on May 22 for PlayStation VR2, Meta Quest 2 and above, and selective PC headsets via Steam. Pre-orders are now open.
