UTA Hires Hip-Hop Agents Zach Iser and Caroline Yim
The pair were previously with WME, where they've served as partners and co-heads of hip-hop and R&B since 2021.

Music agents Zach Iser and Caroline Yim have landed at UTA, where both will serve as partners and agents in the music department.
Iser and Yim were previously at WME, which they joined in 2021 as partners and co-heads of hip-hop and R&B. Prior to that, they were with CAA for three years. Both have a proven track record of working with some of the biggest names in hip-hop and R&B including Anderson .Paak, Doechii, Kehlani, SZA and Future.
“We’ve long admired the way Zach and Caroline discover, nurture and build the careers of artists,” said UTA president David Kramer in a statement. “We’re thrilled to welcome them to UTA and have our clients benefit from their command of the hip-hop and R&B arena. We will continue to invest in music and remain focused on providing our artists with the absolute best pathway to thrive.”
Iser, who lives in Miami, has been featured on Billboard’s 40 Under 40 list and Hip-Hop/R&B Power Players list.
Based in Los Angeles, Yim has been named to Billboard’s Women in Music list and Hip-Hop/R&B Power Players list. She sits on the board of Big Brothers Big Sisters LA and co-founded the Asian American Collective, a community organization that fosters growth, education and connection for current and future Asian American creatives.
The hires come amid a time of growth for UTA, including the acquisition of ROOF football (currently part of KLUTCH Sports) in 2024, the opening of expansive new offices in London in 2023 and the acquisition of the U.K.’s Curtis Brown Group in 2022.
