The “Legally Blonde” prequel series “Elle” has begun production and Amazon Prime Video has unveiled the first look at Lexi Minetree’s young Elle Woods in the series. June Diane Raphael, Tom Everett Scott, Gabrielle Policano, Jacob Moskovitz and Chandler Kinney co-star.
Set to bring audiences back to Elle’s earlier years, the photo confirms the 1990s time period with the character talking on a wired landline. Laura Kittrell and Caroline Dries created the series which Reese Witherspoon set to executive produce. [Source: X]
The White Lotus
The eighth and final episode of the third season of vacation dramedy “The White Lotus” will reported run for 90 minutes – marking the longest episode of the series to date. The length will potentially be needed as the new season has many loose ends to tie up when it airs this coming Sunday. The show has already been renewed for a fourth season. [Source: Variety]
Adolescence
Netflix’s critically acclaimed limited series “Adolescence” has joined its list of its most popular English-language TV series of all time at No. 9 with 96.7 million views so far – beating “Stranger Things” Season 3 (94.8 million) and pushing “Bridgerton” Season 2 (93.8 million) off the Top 10 list.
That record has been achieved in just 17 days, and Netflix’s most popular series lists cover up to the first three months of viewership – plenty of time for it to go higher. The title is likely to beat “Dahmer” (116m) in third place, but whether it can top “Wednesday” (252m) or “Stranger Things” Season 4 (141m) remains unclear. [Source: Variety]
