The Waterboys announce North American tour, share Steve Earle collab from new album about Dennis Hopper

The Waterboys have announced a fall North American tour in support of their upcoming album Life, Death & Dennis Hopper. Anna Tivel will be along as tour opener and things start September 4 in Washington, DC, concluding on October 4 in Oklahoma City. All dates are listed below.

The NYC show happens September 6 at Webster Hall and tickets for the tour go on sale Friday, April 4 at 10 AM local time.

Life, Death & Dennis Hopper is out this Friday, April 4 and the whole thing is actually about the actor, director and wild man; it features contributions from Bruce Springsteen, Fiona Apple, Steve Earle and more. The band just shared “Kansas,” which features Steve Earle, and you can listen to that and a few other songs from the album below.

September will be a good month in NYC to catch Irish legends: The Pogues will play their first shows in 14 years as well.
