PALM SPRINGS, CALIF. – Royal Sun Palm Springs has emerged as an independent property as Suncroft Capital has engaged Springboard Hospitality to expand Palm Springs’ vibrant boutique hotel landscape. The modern desert retreat encompasses 66 guest rooms including four suites, a reimagined restaurant and bar concept, a stylish pool area, and an array of outdoor spaces for connection, conversation, and celebration.

Positioned at the south end of downtown Palm Springs where the energy of Palm Canyon Drive meets the serene San Jacinto Mountains, Royal Sun Palm Springs captures the city’s dynamism and mysticism through its design and guest experience. Entering the lobby feels like walking into a good friend’s well-appointed home. Clean lines and organic forms harmoniously blend desert modernism with Japanese minimalism, while accents of Old Hollywood glamour add sophisticated flair. Geometric patterned flooring, layered textures, and plush furnishings in sun-soaked desert hues combine with collected artwork and tapestries. An arrival tea experience pays tribute to the locale and begins the journey with a warm welcome.

“Whether staying with us for a weekend or midweek getaway, dining with us, or here for an event, each and every guest becomes part of our community,” said Royal Sun Palm Springs General Manager William Pujol. “We are creating something special here through enriching experiences that celebrate the best of Palm Springs across wellness, culinary, and arts & culture. We look forward to welcoming travelers and locals to discover our blend of desert magic and genuine hospitality – and to become part of our growing Royal Sun family.”

High Moon, Royal Sun Palm Springs’ signature restaurant, embodies a convivial spirit. Menus center on Californian cuisine and draw upon the region’s melting pot of flavors in a complementary expression of the property’s overall essence. Desert flora wallcovering and jewel tones envelop the interior dining room with a touch of opulence. Outdoor dining spaces invite camaraderie under the shade of fringed umbrellas by day or beneath the starlit sky, surrounded by the landscaped desert terrain.

Inspired by the sun and moon, High Moon presents two distinct rituals: Sunrise and Afterglow. The Sunrise menu reinterprets familiar breakfast and brunch dishes such as avocado toast, parfaits, and waffles with local ingredients that play with the palate. At Afterglow, a sultry dinner menu of elevated bites and refined dishes includes short rib, surf and turf, and a signature burger for mains, in addition to a selection of chef-crafted boards, from artisan cheese and meats to seafood and sweets. High Moon Pool Bar and terrace serves al fresco snacks and small plates until sunset, featuring brick oven pizzas with house-made dough and mozzarella, tacos, and salads.

From dawn to dusk, the beverage program emphasizes feel-good libations infused with desert influences. Citrus-forward cocktails energize the morning along with a comprehensive coffee program. Light, refreshing poolside sips showcase fresh herbs like rosemary and mint, while the evening cocktail menu both brings the heat and cools the hot weather buzz, responding to Palm Springs’ distinctive climate. For all the fun without the aftermath, choose from non-alcoholic cocktails made with spirit alternatives.

The heartbeat of the hotel, Royal Sun Palm Springs’ pool deck and patios provide an inspiring setting for programming as well as memorable weddings, corporate retreats, team-building activities, and social gatherings. Guest experiences evolve from yoga and meditation set to ambient beats under the rising sun to happy hours, exclusive events, and evening swims with the stars shining brightly above.

Accommodating up to 150 guests in its largest event space and up to 295 guests collectively, Royal Sun Palm Springs’ customizable spaces comprise a lounge with a fire pit, a tranquil gazebo and cactus garden, a poolside terrace, intimate cabanas and chaises, and High Moon restaurant.
