Bluebox Aviation Systems today announces Caribbean Airlines’ expanded deployment of the Blueview wireless in-flight entertainment (IFE) solution across its ATR 72 fleet and its Boeing 737-NG aircraft, providing passengers with seamless access to a comprehensive suite of content, including Movies, TV programmes, Music, Games, and the passenger-favourite, Moving Map.
This launch marks Bluebox’s return as a Caribbean Airlines supplier, following their initial deployment of Blueview on the airline’s Boeing 737 fleet in 2018. Caribbean Airlines warmly welcomes Bluebox back in 2025, extending their successful partnership to the airline’s ATR72 turboprop fleet.
“We’re delighted to welcome Caribbean Airlines back to the Bluebox family,” said Kevin Clark, Chief Executive Officer, Bluebox Aviation Systems. “Their decision to expand Blueview across their ATR and Boeing NG is a further testimonial the quality and flexibility of our solution. We’re especially pleased that Caribbean Airlines appreciates our intuitive and passenger-friendly GUI design, enhancing the passenger experience onboard.”
Caribbean Airlines CEO, Garvin Medera, commented: “Having previously experienced Bluebox’s reliability and user-friendly interface on our fleet, we’re happy to bring Blueview to our passengers, and to introduce it to our ATR fleet. With the expansion of our network, and the ATR being used on more routes, it was important to introduce reliable IFE. The intuitive design is one of our favourite features, significantly enhancing passenger engagement and satisfaction onboard.”
Blueview is an award-winning digital platform providing passengers browser-based access to diverse entertainment options alongside secure payment processing, analytics, and content management. Its portable hardware ensures cost-effective and swift deployment without requiring extensive modifications to aircraft cabins.
With this deployment, Caribbean Airlines continues to position itself as a leader in passenger-centric digital innovation within the aviation industry.
