London’s Royal Albert Hall will play host to live orchestral performances of the entire The Lord Of The Rings trilogy next year.

To celebrate the 25th anniversary of the original release of The Fellowship Of The Ring, the London Philharmonic Orchestra will perform Howard Shore’s familiar score to all three of Peter Jackson’s original films across two separate weekends, with the films being shown on the Hall’s 40-foot screen behind the orchestra.
The first run through will begin on Thursday 30 April 2026, with the second starting on Saturday 9 May 2026. The shows will be part of the venue’s ‘Films In Concert’ series and will mark the first time the entire trilogy will be presented back-to-back with full orchestra in the UK.
