Khalid Covers Sabrina Carpenter’s ‘Please Please Please’ After It Got ‘Stuck in My Head All Day’

Khalid is the latest person to not be able to get Sabrina Carpenter‘s ultra catchy hit “Please Please Please” out of his head, and to rectify that, he posted a buttery smooth cover of the track Wednesday (April 9).

In the short clip shared to his TikTok, the R&B-pop star films himself while sitting at a table, belting out the lines of the chorus to the two-time Grammy winner’s 2024 smash. “Please, please, please don’t prove I’m right/ Please, please, please don’t bring me to tears when I just did my makeup so nice,” he sings, adding a rich, soulful touch to the pop track. “Heartbreak is one thing, my ego’s another.”

After dropping his voice low to deliver the line, “I beg you don’t embarrass me, motherf–ker,” Khalid bursts out laughing.

“this song has been stuck in my head allllll day,” he wrote in his caption.

The “Talk” singer is just one of countless people who’s been loving “Please Please Please” since it dropped in June. The Jack Antonoff-produced track reached No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 — marking Carpenter’s first-ever tune to top the chart — and earned a nomination for song of the year at the 2025 Grammys, though Kendrick Lamar took the award home for “Not Like Us” instead.

Khalid also released new music in 2024, dropping album Sincere — which reached No. 43 on the Billboard 200 — in August. In December, he shared a deluxe version of the LP, featuring new collaborations with Normani, Chloe Bailey and Ayra Starr.
