Jimmy Eat World & Penfold added to Best Friends Forever 2025

After announcing their initial lineup at the beginning of the month, second-wave-emo-centric Vegas fest Best Friends Forever have revealed their previously TBA third headliner: Jimmy Eat World. According to the press release, they’re “putting together a special set for BFF fans, including songs from their seminal album Clarity plus others rarely heard in their live shows.”

They’ve also added NJ emo band Penfold to the festival, for the first show they’ve announced in years.

Best Friends Forever 2025 also features the reunions of Minus the Bear (playing Menos El Oso in full) and Texas is the Reason (without Norman Brannon), as well as Jawbreaker, Rilo Kiley, Mineral (farewell show), Cursive (playing Domestica and The Ugly Organ), Bear vs Shark (playing Terrorhawk), Pedro the Lion (30th anniversary set), Pretty Girls Make Graves, Rival Schools, Knapsack, Hey Mercedes, Burning Airlines, Elliott, These Arms Are Snakes, Kind of Like Spitting, Superchunk, Tigers Jaw, The Appleseed Cast, Mates of State, Speedy Ortiz, Ozma, Wednesday, Narrow Head, awakebutstillinbed, Febuary, Knumears, Crochet, Tiger Bike, Midrift, Prize Horse, and rare/reunion sets from Empire! Empire! (I Was A Lonely Estate), Snowing, Pity Sex, and Oakwood. See the full lineup below.
