“Succession” star Jeremy Strong is set to lead a new Netflix TV series adaptation of Ira Levin’s famed novel “The Boys From Brazil”.

The property was famously adapted to the screen as a five-time Oscar nominated film in 1978 and followed Laurence Olivier as Ezra Lieberman, a famed Nazi hunter who is drawn to investigate a conspiracy revealed to him by a young peer (Steve Guttenberg).

That the notorious Dr. Josef Mengele (Gregory Peck) is in Paraguay working on a diabolical plan to re-establish the Third Reich via an ambitious plan put in place after Germany lost World War II.

Lieberman heads to South America to uncover a truth which turns out to be horrific, a wild scheme involving cloning and the murder of dozens of civil servants.

Strong will reportedly take on the Lieberman role in the series which is being penned by Peter Morgan (“The Crown,” “Frost/Nixon”) who will executive produce alongside Suzanne Mackie (“Misbehaviour”).

The project will mark the first series for Strong since “Succession”. Strong just wrapped the Springsteen biopic “Deliver Me From Nowhere” playing the singer’s manager Jon Landau.
