Jeep Reimagines Its Military Roots with the Gladiator Convoy Concept

Jeep has unveiled the Convoy Concept, a rugged homage to its storied lineage of military and civilian trucks. Built on the 2025 Gladiator Mojave platform, the concept vehicle draws direct inspiration from the original 1963 Gladiator SJ and the subsequent J-Series trucks, blending retro styling cues with modern off-road capability.The Convoy Concept commands attention with its matte Ghost Ops exterior, a specially designed “J-truck” hood and a one-of-a-kind seven-slot grille embedded with amber LED forward lighting. A 12,000-lb Warn Zeon winch sits proudly up front, while chocolate brown canvas half-doors and a matching canopy lend a classic utilitarian aesthetic. High-clearance flares accommodate aggressive 40-inch BFGoodrich Krawler tires wrapped around 17-inch Warn wheels.Inside, the Convoy channels vintage military ruggedness with Mil Spec O.D. Green bed-lined floors and components. Low-back distressed brown leather seats complete the throwback look, giving the cabin a purposeful yet lived-in feel.
