Full Trailer: “Bambi: The Reckoning”

Jagged Edge Productions and Premiere Entertainment have released the full trailer for “Bambi: The Reckoning,” a horror retelling of Felix Salten’s “Bambi, a Life in the Woods” book which served as the basis for the Disney animated classic.

This film follows Xana (Roxanne McKee) and her son Benji (Tom Mulheron) who find themselves in a car wreck and soon hunted down by the vicious killing machine, the deer Bambi, who will destroy anyone in its path as it seeks revenge for the death of its mother.

Dan Allen directs from a screenplay written by Rhys Warrington. The cast also includes Nicola Wright, Samira Mighty, Alex Cooke, Russell Geoffrey Banks, Catherine Adams, Big Tobz, Adrian Relph, Joseph Greenwood, Luke Cavendish, and Ewan Borthwick.

Rhys Frake-Waterfield and Scott Jeffrey produce the British indie slasher which serves as the next installment of the Twisted Childhood Universe that began with the “Winnie-the-Pooh: Blood and Honey” films.

The most recent entry was “Peter Pan’s Neverland Nightmare” which arrived in January. On the way later this year are “Pinocchio: Unstrung” and “Poohniverse: Monsters Assemble”.

Further projects in development include “Awakening Sleeping Beauty,” “Snow White Returns,” “Tigger Returns,” “Alice the Mad,” “Winnie-the-Pooh: Blood and Honey 3” and an untitled Mary Poppins film.
