Flaming Lips, Modest Mouse Turn Back The Clock For Summer Tour

The Flaming Lips and Modest Mouse will party like its 2005 on their summer co-headlining tour, which will start Aug. 1 in Atlanta and run through Sept. 10-11 in Troutdale, Or. Friko and Dehd will open the trek, tickets for which go on sale Friday (March 28) to the general public.

The Flaming Lips have largely been off the road this year following a 2024 tour with Dinosaur Jr. and Weezer. Last year, the Wayne Coyne-led group rung in the 25th anniversary of their beloved album The Soft Bulletin with a special zoetrope vinyl reissue.

Modest Mouse have also been away from the stage since the conclusion last November of their 20th anniversary Good News for People Who Love Bad News tour.
