Spielplätze, die bunt & kreativ gestaltet sind

Das Architekturbüro 100architects steht für „Street Architecture & Urban Inventions“. Wie kreativ und modern die Umsetzungen sein können, zeigen diese zwei Spielplatz-Designs, die ich für sehr gelungen erachte. Die im chinesischen Guangzhou gelegene Anlage „Wired Scape“ ist wie ein großer Wald gestaltet und weiß auch aus der Vogelperspektive mit interessanten Mustern aufzuwarten. Der im chinesischen Fuzhou gelegene „Rubix Square“ ist eine Hommage an klassische Spiele, wie den Rubik’s Cube oder Tic Tac Toe. Dagegen wirken die meisten Spielplätze in Deutschland enorm langweilig.

Wired Scape is an innovative playscape nestled within a residential district of Guangzhou, China. Conceived by 100architects, the project merges the essence of natural landscapes, the elegance of fluid geometries, and the excitement of open-ended play into a one-of-a-kind public destination for all ages.

Drawing inspiration from Guangzhou’s diverse natural environments, the design interprets two fundamental elements—Forest and Flowing Water—through abstract geometries and sculptural forms. The result is a forest-like playscape where every element appears as if spun from wires, wrapping around trees to form highly tactile, richly textured volumes.

Rubix Square is a hyper-stimulating public space located in Fuzhou, China, nestled within a residential area and surrounded by residential buildings. The project is composed of five distinct installations, each inspired by a sport or specific activity, designed to engage visitors in a unique and playful environment.

At the heart of the project is the central installation, Rubix Square—a massive, habitable sculpture and playground designed as a three-story building. This centerpiece draws inspiration from the iconic Rubik’s Cube, a game that has captivated people worldwide. However, in this iteration, the Rubix Cube is reimagined as a space you can explore from within. Visitors can dive inside this colossal structure, where they are encouraged to interact with its vibrant and dynamic interior.
