‘Companion’ Starring Sophie Thatcher & Jack Quaid Streams on Max Next Week

Experience a new kind of love story when Companion makes his global streaming debut on Friday, April 18, exclusively on Max, followed by HBO linear on April 19 at 8pm ET.

A weekend getaway with friends at a remote cabin goes haywire after it’s revealed that one of the guests is not what they seem.

Sophie Thatcher (“Yellowjackets”) and Jack Quaid (“The Boys”) star with Lukas Gage (Smile 2), Megan Suri (“Never Have I Ever”), Harvey Guillén (“What We Do in the Shadows”), and Rupert Friend (“Obi-Wan Kenobi”).

Produced by Zach Cregger and Boulderlight Pictures (Barbarian), the sci-fi horror thriller marks the directorial debut of Drew Hancock, who also penned the script.

Meagan Navarro wrote in her review, “Though familiar in many ways, Hancock’s confident direction and commitment to entertaining mayhem ensures a highly entertaining ride that builds to one of the most triumphant conclusions in recent memory.”
