CEO of NVIDIA Receives ERL Leather Jacket by Neo Gamma Humanoid Robot
CEO of NVIDIA, Jensen Huang recently received an ERL-designed studded leather jacket from 1X Technologies -- an AI robotics company producing humanoids that are capable of human-like movements and behaviors.The exchane between NVIDIA's CEO and the humanoid robot comes after 1X Technologies recently announced its research partnership with NVIDIA. 1X's CEO Bernt Børnich said in a statement that by the end of 2025, the company hopes to begin early tests of its humanoid robot, Neo Gamma in "a few hundred to a few thousand" homes. Speaking to Tech Crunch, Børnich said, "Neo Gamma is going into homes this year. We want to invite early adopters in this year to help us develop this system. We want it to live and learn among people, and to do that, we need people to take Neo into their home and help us teach it how to behave." With these in-home tests, this will allow 1X to collect data on how Neo Gamma can operate in a home and how it can be trained as an in-house AI model that maximizes its capabilities.ERL supplied the custom leather jacket that was gifted by the Neo Gamma humanoid robot to Huang. The jacket featured a studded NVIDIA logo on the right chest as well as the ERL branding on the front waist strap. NVIDIA's logo is also featured on the back of the jacket and Huang can be seen posing in the jacket after meeting the humanoid robot, marking a pinnacle interaction between NVIDIA and 1X.
