AVATAR: FIRE AND ASH Footage Reaction - Another Visually Stunning Film - CinemaCon 2025

Disney showed up at CinemaCon with the first footage of James Cameron’s upcoming epic Avatar: Fire and Ash and, of course, they p[resented it in 3D, because that’s how the director wants audiences to experience it. At least Cameron does 3D right! We were there to experience the footage and Cameron has made another visually stunning Avatar film. It looks ever better than the first two. He’s really pushing the boundris of filmmaking technology. Watch us talk about the film in our reaction video! This third installment brings back Sam Worthington, Zoe Saldaña, Sigourney Weaver, and Stephen Lang as the saga returns to Pandora. This time, the story will introduce the Ash People, a new Na’vi faction tied to the planet’s volcanic regions. It looks like a darker, more intense chapter in the Avatar universe.Cameron previously said: “You’ll see a lot more Pandora that you never saw before. It’s an insane adventure and a feast for the eyes, but it’s also got very high emotional stakes, more than ever before. We’re going into really challenging territory for all the characters you know and love.”Cameron also confirmed the next chapter of Avatar will be even longer than The Way of Water, which clocked in at three hours and 12 minutes. I’m sure he’s packing every extra minute with rich world-building, stunning visuals, and tear-endusing emotional weight.Cameron previously shared: “I've shown it to a few selected people and the feedback has been it's definitely the most emotional and maybe the best of the three so far.”Avatar: Fire and Ash lands in theaters on December 19, 2025.
