Now that the February 2025 PlayStation State of Play is officially happening, it’s time for everyone to speculate about what could possibly be shown at the showcase. One such avenue pertains to Xbox. Microsoft clearly wants more of its games on other platforms — the recent announcements of Forza Horizon 5, Age of Mythology: Retold, and Age of Empires 2: Definitive Edition coming to PS5 make that clear.

So, is it possible we will see another Xbox first-party exclusive announced for Sony’s current-gen console platform? One known insider believes there is definitely a possibility.

Known insider claims Senua’s Saga: Hellblade 2 might be at tomorrow’s State of Play

In a recent X reply from Window Central’s Jez Corden, they tease that it might be time to reveal Senua’s Saga: Hellblade 2 is coming to PS5. When the original poster @mrpyo1 responded, “If it comes to PS5, I will platinum it,” Corden doubled down on the tease, saying to expect it “pretty soon.” While the insider seems 100% certain Hellblade 2 is coming to PS5, when exactly it will be revealed is still up in the air.

“Not if, ‘when’,” Corden added. “And when is pretty soon from what I’ve been hearing.”

Within this same post, another known leaker, NateTheHate, also teased Hellblade 2’s arrival to PS5 with a photoshopped picture of Senua peering over to look at a PS5. Along with the picture, they said, “Soon…. very soon.” They do clarify in that same thread that they do not know if the game will be at the State of Play.

Like any rumor, take this with a grain of salt. Corden has been a reliable source in the past, but things can change between now and tomorrow’s presentation. We’ll just have to wait until the State of Play goes live on February 12 at 5 p.m. ET/2 p.m. PT. Maybe it’ll be shown alongside Lost Soul Aside, which the developer confirmed will be at the event.
