PlayStation State of Play February 2025 livestream and what to expect

Death Stranding 2: On the Beach seems to be pretty much a given, if teases by Hideo Kojima himself and Sony’s XDEV are anything to go by. There’s some speculation that we’ll finally get a release date alongside a new trailer.

Then, there’s Final Fantasy-inspired Lost Soul Aside, the X account for which has been hinting at an appearance. The game has been in development for eons, so it’s about time anyway. We’re also expecting to see Ghost of Yotei, considering it’s Sony’s 2025 blockbuster.

There’s some chatter about Hellblade 2 and Bungie’s new game turning up at the event, but take those with a grain of salt.

Other than the above, we expect Level 5 to announce FANTASY LIFE i: The Girl Who Steals Time for the PS5 and PS4, and a release date for Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater.
