Upcoming PS5 Shooter Allows You to Invite 5 Friends to Play for Free

An intriguing upcoming PS5 multiplayer shooter is scheduled to launch in early access soon, and players can invite five friends to join them at no additional cost, with no limits on how much they can play. Announced at The Game Awards 2024, Midnight Murder Club will make its PS5 debut on March 13.

Midnight Murder Club is in development at Velan Studios, which previously released acclaimed multiplayer game Knockout City. The first-person shooter/party game puts players and their party in a dark, deadly mansion, equipped with nothing but a flashlight and pistol. Players must try to stay alive until dawn.

Midnight Murder Club will be available for $19.99. With the accompanying Guest Pass, buyers will be able to invite up to five friends to play with them for free in both public and private matches. There’s no restriction on which game modes they can access and how much they can play at no additional cost.

Speaking of game modes, Velan Studios also announced a Wildcards game mode for Midnight Murder Club in addition to Free for All, Thief in the Night, Team Deathmatch, and Headhunters. Players will have a set of cards to choose from, which will switch things up by changing the rules of the game in “wild new ways.”
