Trailer: Kevin Bacon vs. Demons In “Bondsman”

Amazon Prime Video has released a new red-band trailer for “The Bondsman,” its new half-hour supernatural action TV series starring Kevin Bacon.

The show follows Hub Halloran, a murdered bounty hunter, who’s back from the dead after being resurrected by the Devil to trap and send back demons that have escaped from the prison of Hell.

By chasing down those demons, with the help and hindrance of his estranged family, Hub learns how his own sins got his soul condemned – which pushes him to seek a second chance at life, love, and country music.

Based on an original idea from series creator Grainger David, Erik Oleson (“Carnival Row”) serves as showrunner on the project which runs for eight episodes and is being produced by Blumhouse Television.

The cast also includes Jennifer Nettles, Damon Herriman, Beth Grant, Maxwell Jenkins and Jolene Purdy. The entire season run of the series will launch on April 3rd on Amazon Prime Video.

Oleson and David will executive produce alongside Bacon, Jason Blum, Chris McCumber, Jeremy Gold, Chris Dickie and Paul Shapiro.
