DEATH CAB FOR CUTIE

Death Cab for Cutie have announced six dates in July: Sacramento, Reno, and Redding with Mary Lattimore, and Portland, Bonner, and Spokane with Sea Lemon. These are just regular DCFC shows, not the special Plans celebrations happening in August.

BEST FRIENDS FOREVER 2025

Second-wave-emo-centric fest Best Friends Forever announced their 2025 lineup today which includes reunions of Texas Is The Reason (minus Norman Brannon), Minus The Bear, Jawbreaker, Empire! Empire!, Marietta and more.

NEW COLOSSUS FESTIVAL

The 2025 edition of NYC’s New Colossus Festival starts tonight and we’ve got a guide including 14 acts we’re excited to see.

ENGLISH TEACHER

UK band and Mercury Prize winners English teacher will be back in the US in September, hitting, Seattle, Portland, San Francisco, Los Angeles, Salt Lake City, and Austin ahead of their appearance at Shaky Knees in Atlanta.

DESTROYER

Destroyer just wrapped up his run opening for Father John Misty, and now Dan Bejar has announced a Destroyer headlining tour happening this fall in support of his upcoming album Dan’s Boogie.

BELLY

’90s alt rock greats Belly are celebrating the 30th anniversary of their second album, ‘King,’ with a Record Store Day reissue of the album and a fall tour where they’ll play it in full.

INITIATE

Having recently returned with their first new music in almost two years, Initiate head to the East Coast this spring, where they don’t get to very often.

ACID BATH

Legendary ’90s sludge metal band are reuniting for their first shows in nearly 30 years this year, including an NYC show.

VISION OF DISORDER

Long Island hardcore vets Vision of Disorder reunited in November for a benefit show for Sick Of It All’s Lou Koller, and they’ve now announced another show. They’ll celebrate the 30th anniversary of their first EP, 1995’s Still, with a hometown Long Island show.

LOS CAMPESINOS!

Los Campesinos! have announced their first North American tour since the release of 2024’s All Hell, their first album in seven years. They’re calling the brief run a “whistle-stop tour,” and say these will be their only North American dates of the year.

POST MALONE’S TRAVELIN’ TAILGATE

Post Malone is on tour this spring and he’s just announced a companion “Travelin’ Tailgate” party that will happen outside of the stadiums on the day of show featuring food, live music, carnival games, and more. The events are free and open to the public. More info here.

BRUCE DICKINSON (IRON MAIDEN)

Iron Maiden frontman Bruce Dickinson released his first solo album in nearly two decades, The Mandrake Project, last year, and now he’s announced a North American tour for it. “We are thrilled to be able to take The Mandrake Project out for a proper tour of North America,” he says.

TESTAMENT

Thrash metal vets Testament will be celebrating the 35th anniversary of their third album, Practice What You Preach, by playing it in full on tour this spring. “We will be performing the album Practice What You Preach, telling stories, playing a few acoustic tunes, and finishing out with the best of deep cuts,” says frontman Chuck Billy. “This will be an evening with Testament you don’t want to miss! Horns Up!”

CAR SEAT HEADREST

Car Seat Headrest has announced The Scholars, their first studio album in five years, which will be out May 2 via Matador. It’s an ambitious double-LP rock opera and they will do a little touring for it.

GRAHAM HUNT / DAZY / LIQUID MIKE

Graham Hunt, who just announced a new solo album on Run For Cover (and gets crazy with the cheese wiz on its first single), will be on the road in April with old pal Liquid Mike and dazy, including a NYC show at TV Eye on 4/7.

BONNIE ‘PRINCE’ BILLY

Bonnie ‘Prince’ Billy’s 2025 tour plans include May dates in Europe with Mess Esque and select North American dates in late summer.

DARYL HALL & GLENN TILBROOK

Daryl Hall of Hall and Oates and Glenn Tilbrook of Squeeze are teaming up for a tour that starts March 22 in Houston, and they’ve just added Northeast shows.

SUZANNE VEGA

Suzanne Vega is releasing new album Flying With Angels on May 2 and she’ll be on tour for it this summer, including NYC’s Town Hall on June 14 which is with Suzzy Roche & Lucy Wainwright Roche. All dates are here and check out new single “Speaker’s Corner”:

EDWYN COLLINS

Former Orange Juice frontman Edwyn Collins will release his 10th albumin March, and he’s also announced what he says will be his last-ever tour.

TUNE-YARDS

Merrill Garbus and Nate Brenner have announced a new Tune-Yards album, Better Dreaming, due May 16 via 4AD, and a short Northeast tour of intimate venues.
