‘The White Lotus’ Season 3, Episode 4 Snags Series High With 3.4 Million Viewers

“The White Lotus” viewership keeps growing in Season 3. The Mike White-created drama series posted another series high in viewership with the release of Sunday’s new episode with 3.4 million U.S. viewers across HBO and Max, a premiere-night season high.

So far, Season 3 is averaging 12.2 million viewers per episode, a 78% increase from the performance of Season 2 in the same timeframe. Last season, however, on to average 15.5 million viewers per episode. The show has already been renewed for Season 4 at HBO.

Episode 4 kept building on the tension surrounding the Thailand-set proceedings, including a water gun fight, an awkward boat ride and one of the guests stealing a gun — as a future shooting looms in the horizon.

Viewers kept the HBO love going for the Season 4 premiere of “The Righteous Gemstones,” which scored 919,000 viewers — the highest premiere night number for the Danny McBride comedy series. It marks a 30% increase in viewership from the Season 3 premiere.

The strong performance comes as Max boasted catch-up viewing of previous seasons of “The Righteous Gemstones,” with the average daily viewing growing 119% above the week leading into the Season 3 premiere.

The episode, which took place in the Civil War era and starred Bradley Cooper, kicks off the run for the show’s final season. The series McBride, Edi Patterson, Adam DeVine and John Goodman.
