Sadie Sink Will Play Mary Jane In Spider-Man 4 | Barside Buzz

Following her recently announced casting in the film the new Barside Buzz says Sadie Sink will play Mary Jane in Spider-Man 4. The casting of Sink in Spider-Man 4 was reported by trades, with none really sure who she will play? There was talk from Jeff Sneider that Sink was in contention for Jean Grey. However, that was before the Spidey casting was announced. Now Sneider says he actually thinks the role Sink will play is, Mary Jane.

Speaking on the latest edition of The Hot Mic with his co-host John Rocha, Sneider reacted to the casting news. He now thinks whilst Sink was in contention for more than one role, the one she has grabbed is Mary Jane. Now, whether that be Mary Jane Watson, is hard to say? The MCU already has it’s MJ in Michelle Jones Watson. Who, of course is played by mega star and real life fiancé of Tom Holland, Zendaya. It’s bad business sense to break up that partnership. Marvel and Sony will both understand this.

However, as Sneider points out, he doesn’t know how all this Multiversal nonsense works. This movie is set post-Doomsday, therefore as Sneider says, surely anything is possible? Though, whilst he may not know how this will actually work in the film, he’s pretty sure Sink is playing Mary Jane in the film.

There have been so many rumors around the plot of Spider-Man 4 and I do believe some of them were genuine. However, I’m not sure anyone really knows the actual plot of the script which has made it this far. Good chance that will change when filming gets underway, and you should expect that later this year.
