Reversal of Man announce first show in 25 years

The screamo reunions keep coming: Reversal of Man have just announced their first show in 25 years. The Tampa band will play their hometown on August 30 at Crowbar with support from Meatwound (ex-combatwoundedveteran), Novely, and Watts. Tickets are on sale now.

Reversal of Man were originally around between 1995 and 2000, during which time they released a handful of splits and EPs and one full-length album, 1999’s This Is Medicine (Ebullition Records). On July 31, 2000, they played their final show in Gainesville. Fast forward to 2022, Repeater Records put out a Reversal of Man discography comp which quickly sold out of its first pressing, and now the band is finally back. The lineup for the reunion is as follows:

Matt Coplon (Reversal of Man / Light Yourself on Fire)
Dan Radde (Reversal of Man, combatwoundedveteran, Fathers, Guiltmaker)
Jeff Howe (Reversal of Man, combatwoundedveteran, Fathers, Horsewhip, Heaven’s Gate)
Jason Hamacher (Frodus, combatwoundedveteran, Battery, Dystaron)
Shaun Drees (Early Grace, Guiltmaker, Fathers, Horsewhip)
Jasen Weitekamp (Reversal of Man, Greening, Robots Make Mistakes)

Watch a full-set video from 2000 and check out the flyer for the reunion show below. Let’s hope more shows are TBA!
