Elden Ring: Nightrein
From Software’s “Elden Ring” multiplayer spin-off game “Elden Ring Nightrein” has set a May 30th release date on PS5, PS4, Xbox and PC. Publisher Bandai Namco released the date news prior to a planned network test this weekend.
The game was first announced on stage at The Game Awards in December and is said to be a fast-paced co-op action game with roguelike elements, unlike the main game which is a lengthy single-player RPG with From’s typical approach to difficulty. [Source: X]
Fallout
Attending the premiere of the third season of HBO’s “The White Lotus,” actor Walton Goggins offered an update on the second season of Amazon’s well-received “Fallout” TV series adaptation. He tells Deadline:
“We’re in the middle of filming it right now, we’ve been at it since November, and I can tell you that I thought Season 1 was extraordinary, personally, I was very pleased with it. This blows it out of the water, what these writers have done and the artisans that have come together to tell this story. It’s really gonna be something. I can’t wait for people to see it. We’re working really hard to make that happen.”
The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo
“Novitiate” filmmaker Maggie Betts has been tapped to direct “The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo” at Netflix following filmmaker Leslye Headland’s exit. Betts will co-write the screenplay with Liz Tigelaar.
Based on Taylor Jenkins Reid’s best-selling 2017 novel, the story follows a fictional and fiercely private Old Hollywood star who gives a final tell-all interview about her infamous seven marriages and other wild tales of showbiz scandals, betrayals and woes. [Source: Variety]
