‘Palworld’ and ‘PUBG: Battlegrounds’ announce April Fool’s Day dating sims

Both Palworld and PUBG:Battlegrounds have announced genuine dating sims this April Fool’s Day.

Last April Fool’s Day, Palworld developers teased a More Than Just Pals dating simulator game. Following a lot of excitement from fans, PocketPair hinted that the joke game could become a reality. “Please make this happen,” one fan wrote on X.  “…perhaps…” replied the official Palworld account.

Now an official Steam page for the game has been launched, with players able to wishlist the title. “You, the protagonist, enroll as a transfer student in the prestigious Palpagos Private Academy.  You will meet unique friends (pals) and enjoy school life through friendship and romance. It’s up to you whether you stay friends with the pals, develop romantic relationships with them, or even dismember and eat them,” reads the official description. “Your dream school romance starts here in this Palworld dating sim.”

A new trailer for the game has also been shared alongside a number of character bios but a release date is still to be confirmed.
