FX Teases “Alien: Earth,” “The Bear” & More

FX booked some commercial time during the Oscars last night to air a new one-minute promo reel for four titles coming to the network and Hulu in 2025. That reel is now online.

The trailer offers several seconds of footage from each of its upcoming titles, most notably “Alien: Earth” which includes a shot of a Xenomorph. The series is set two years before the events of “Alien” and hails from “Fargo” and “Legion” creator Noah Hawley. It begins when a mysterious space vessel crash-lands on Earth.

A young woman (Sydney Chandler) and a ragtag group of tactical soldiers make a fateful discovery that puts them face-to-face with the planet’s greatest threat. As members of the crash recovery crew search for survivors in the wreckage, they encounter mysterious, predatory life forms more terrifying than they could have ever imagined.

With this new threat unlocked, the search crew must fight for survival, and what they choose to do with this discovery could change planet Earth as they know it. Alex Lawther, Essie Davis, Timothy Olyphant, Kit Young, Adarsh Gourav, David Rysdahl, Babou Ceesay, Lily Newmark, Adrian Edmondson, Sandra Yi Sencindiver and Moe Bar-El co-star.

There’s also a first look at the fourth season of “The Bear” which shot a bunch of its season back-to-back with the third, but more shooting will take place shortly ahead of the new run’s launch sometime in June.

After highlighting their successes with shows like “Shogun,” “Welcome to Wrexham,” “Miss America,” “The Bear,” “What We Do In the Shadows” and more, the promo switches over to the new footage with the two other titles shown being the Michelle Williams-led “Dying for Sex,” and the comedy “Adults”.
