A revised 8-speed DCT gearbox offers quicker shifts, amplified by an electronically synchronized boost.Aerodynamically, the 296 Speciale generates 959 lbs of downforce at 155 mph — 20% more than the GTB — thanks to advanced elements like side wings, an aero damper and a reprogrammed active rear spoiler with new MD (Medium Downforce) mode. The chassis rides lower and lighter, with a 132 lb weight reduction thanks to widespread use of carbon fiber and titanium.Inside, the race-inspired cabin uses carbon door panels, a minimalist console and Alcantara finishes.
