Watch Jello Biafra join Cavalera for “Nazi Trumps Fuck Off”

Max and Iggor Cavalera of Brazilian metal legends Sepultura have been on tour playing Sepultura sets with their current project Cavalera (aka Cavalera Conspiracy), and they had a surprise in store when that tour hit Denver’s Marquis Theater on March 3. Original Dead Kennedys vocalist Jello Biafra joined them to perform the DK classic “Nazi Punks Fuck Off,” and the always-outspoken Jello intro’d the song with some words for how it relates to our current administration.

“It was originally just written about people being really fucking violent in the pit and acting like a bunch of nazis. Then, when it got to places that had real dictators and real fascists, like Brazil,” he says, while gesturing towards the Cavalera brothers, “and Eastern Europe, it became more. It became kind of a revolutionary cry. So, no mothballing the song, especially because, for the first time ever, we are staring at real live fascist dictatorships with red, white, and blue brown shirts all over this country.”

“It’s gonna take ’em awhile to get to me, but I’m enough on the shit list for what I’ve said about dirty Donny Trump and whatnot, you never know. So now, this song has a slightly different name I think we can all relate to: ‘Nazi Trumps, Fuck Off!'”

He was met by lots of cheers, and as you’d probably imagine, the place became utter insanity. Watch below.

Cavalera’s tour has support from Necrot and Dead Heat, and it hits Brooklyn’s Warsaw on March 13. All remaining dates are listed below.
