Tropical Fuck Storm announce new album, share “Bloodsport”

Tropical Fuck Storm have announced a new album, Fairyland Codex, which will be out June 20 via Fire Records. This is their first for the label and they co-produced it with Michael Beach at their own Dodgy Brothers studio in Nagambie, Australia.

Fairyland Codex includes their recent single “Goon Show,” and they’ve just shared “Bloodsport,” a TFS-style funk number sung by Erica Dunn who describes it like this: “A canticle of enticement to all dancing molecules left on planet earth to do their stretches and step into the ring for something braver than a bareknuckle fight; a pulse check. An anthem of resistance for all left with a beating heart to scoop themselves out of the bubble bath of social malaise and backyard domineering to perceive the ticking clock of reality square in the face before we are all left to eat Levis scraps like fruity loops in bowls of printer toner and orangutang juice.”
