The Pigeon Detectives have announced a ‘best of’ UK headline tour for 2025. Find all the details below.

The Leeds indie band, who are now 20 years into their career, will hit the road this autumn for a run of celebratory shows.

Kicking off in Glasgow on October 2, the forthcoming trek also includes stops at Nottingham’s Rock City (3), Leeds’ O2 Academy (4), Birmingham’s O2 Institute (10), London’s Electric Brixton (November 14) and Manchester’s New Century Hall (29).

The tour will follow the release of a new career-spanning compilation album ‘Still Not Sorry’, which is due for release on May 23 via Dance To The Radio. Pre-order/pre-save here.

The collection features three bonus re-worked tracks, and has been previewed by an alternative version of 2007 single ‘I’m Not Sorry’ from the group’s debut album ‘Wait For Me’ (listen below).

Tickets for The Pigeon Detectives’ 2025 ‘best of’ UK tour go on general sale at 10am BST next Friday (May 2) – you’ll be able to buy yours here. Alternatively, fans can access a pre-sale by purchasing an album or merch from their official store.

Looking back on their success as a band ahead of the new album and tour, The Pigeon Detectives wrote: “If a band is lucky (and hardworking, and fairly decent at what they do!) there comes a time in their career when they realise that the journey they started as mates messing about on guitars has culminated in a hefty bunch of songs that people actually care about and connect with!

“At this point, the only logical next step is to take a breath, reflect back through the archives and assemble a ‘Best Of’ album. We’ve reached that point Pigeon Heads! This collection of songs has bound five friends from Leeds together for life. Songs that have taken us on adventures around the globe and allowed us to perform on some of the biggest stages on the planet.”

They continued: “As a band it’s always felt like we had to do things the hard way, even with an amazing set of supportive fans. But we just kept on writing songs, kept on playing gigs and kept on being The Pigeon Detectives. Us against the world. We weren’t sorry then, and we’re Still Not Sorry now!

“Enjoy the ‘Best Of’ album and we will see you on tour to celebrate this amazing journey we’ve all been on together!”
