Set Sjostrand Will Play Couladin In Wheel of Time Season 3 | Barside Buzz

I think more news than Buzz today as we learn that Set Sjostrand will play Couladin in Wheel of Time Season 3. As you know S3 premieres on March 13 with the first three episodes. However, one piece of casting that’s not yet been made official is that of the character Couladin. I won’t give any book details of his role, but we knew he had to be involved.

Now WoT Up! Is saying that Set Sjostrand is playing the role. The host of the show claims he’s known about this casting for a while. However, he was asked to keep the information as he was told Amazon would announce it. The reason he’s now revealing the information is because Sjostrand’s IMDB has been update recently. Guess what role was added? Therefore, I can understand why the channel is reporting this now, with no signs of an Amazon announcement prior to Season 3.

There’s little I can say about Couladin other than he’s an antagonist of sorts in the books and probably the show as well. Not a major ongoing character for many seasons. However, Couladin will be prominent in Season 3 and perhaps Season 4, if it gets made.

However, looks wise Sjostrand gives off big Couladin vibes to me. I guess we’ll see as Season 3 of the show progresses. I will be reviewing Season 3 episodically, so I’ll give my thoughts on the casting when he shows up.
